Arman Kids Foundation
Arman, noun, from Hindi आरमान meaning: a desire, wish or hope for something to happen.
Our mission is two-fold:
- To ensure that lack of access to treatment, or lack of money, is not a hindrance in getting a child the best possible medical care.
- To empower children through education – engaging them in gainful vocations to attain better standards of life in their own surroundings.
Medical Support
Arman Kids Foundation supports needy families by contributing a portion of the cost of medical treatment of their children.
Focus areas – Our focus is to provide support for Liver Transplant, Bone Marrow Transplant and surgical treatment for atrial septal defect (ASD) and ventricular septal defect (VSD).
How (and where) – We partner with local NGOs in Philippines and Indonesia, to provide financial support to children in need, enabling their travel to, and treatment in India. Through our partnership with medical tourism firms in India like EasyCure, and super-specialty hospitals in India, we benefit from their CSR initiatives – e.g. Apollo Hospital’s SACHi – Saving a Child’s Heart Initiative, or, KIMS Hospital’s Liver Foundation.
Education
Arman Kids Foundation supports children to continue their education dreams.
Focus areas – Our focus is to support the cost of education through provision of school bags and stationery, to school and college going kids. We support scholarships for college and school fees.
How (and where) – We partner with local NGOs in India, to support their initiatives that are aligned to ours. In addition, from time to time we conduct outreach programs to provide awareness and exposure to the children on various aspects of career choices in their lives. Experts from different walks of life speak at these programs.
